Have you ever noticed how in the movies, people with curly hair have either perfect corkscrews, loose beautiful waves, or a rat's nest of tragedy and sorrow? The message always seems to be that with curly hair, there is zero work involved to make it look perfect, you never have a bad hair day, and you never ever have to brush it. OR that no matter how hard you try it's hideous and you will never be loved so you have to get it chemically straightened and pretend it's natural if you want a significant other or children or a life. Hey guys. It's almost 2014. How? I don't actually have any idea. But here's the thing. My life has suddenly changed a lot. But the more I look at it, that better it is.
